Yesterday the wii u was announced, a new nintendo console. It has hd graphics and is pretty cool, pikmin 3 confirmed btw. My wallet is not ready for all the 3ds games :,(
I can't say I'm really all that excited for this. After the gamecube, Nintendo hasn't really released anything good, just mediocre systems that sell because of gimmicks. A lot the promotional material for the wii u is actually from from the xbox and ps3
Eric, the devs said this is the spiritual successor to the game cube. A lot of the things they are implementing now they said they would have for the GC, but the tech was too expensive for the time. The 3ds technology was first testing when the gamecube was released, and tested on luigis mansion. So yeah its gamecube 2
Yeah I saw Pikmin 3 got confirmed which is awesome. Expensive, but cool stuff.
